Request email verification message to be re-sent

When you add an email address, most utilities send you an email verification request. You must reply to this request to verify your email. The system cannot use the address until you reply.

To request another verification email

  1. Display the Customer Email Addresses page by clicking Customer Profile > Email Addresses.
  2. Click the email address. It must have asterisk symbol ("*) next to it. Email addresses without an asterisk have already been verified.
  3. On the Add/Change Email Address page, click Resend Verification Email.

    You are returned to the Customer Email Addresses page and a notice at the bottom of the page indicates that the verification email was successfully created.

  4. Find the email you were sent and click its link to complete the verification process.
  5. Exit and then re-display the Customer Email Addresses page to ensure that the asterisk has been removed.
